Bands and Artists to Watch: Little Red

Melbourne based Little Red have been around the usual local venues and been extremely successful but it wasn't until 2008 we got a full LP called 'Listen to Little Red'. They have continued to prove themselves on the festival circuit and had a song on the hit show Underbelly. If you are new to the band I really recommend you check these clips out. They have great songs and a bright future with hopefully many great albums to come.

Sorry about not being able to embed the video for the song, 'Waiting' their YT channel won't allow it.

I will be seeing them at the Hi-Fi Bar next Friday and will give you a full report with pics from the gig. I haven't forgotten my gig review from the Killers set at V, just had real life stuff that has demanded my attention.

How good are Little Red!
I want to see them at their underage Melbourne gig but it looks like all my friends are boring and don't want to go.

You might like another Melbourne band called The Harpoons.
They have the retro thing happening as wel

Yeah, I'm trying to encourage everyone else to listen to them now. I'm suprised your mates don't want to go cos' I think they have a very broad appeal unlike a lot of other bands I like. I'll definitely check out The Harpoons since you mentioned them in one of your posts.

I managed to convice some of my friends so it looks like i'll be going after all.
I'm hoping the Flinders st emos won't turn up to this gig. Songs about soft drink aren't entirely depressing...

I'm glad you're going cos' everyone should be gigging. I doubt emos will go to the gig but you will probably get hipsters. I hope it's good for both U18s and over 18s so we can both post positive reviews!!
